Final blog entry on Marc Anthony!!!!!!!!!!

        Well I think the real question would be what has Marc Anthony not taught me?He has taught me so many things.Starting from with if you have determination and the motivation you can move mountains.He has also taught me that not all the doors in life are always going to be open.So that when you see a closed door,that should give you the motivation to take that rejection and hid for a new path .I always say "It may be hard,but its not difficult"

    

 

      Now, I would say that Marc Anthony and I have a few things in common.Starting with the fact that we are both Puerto Ricans. And also with us being the youngest of all our siblings.Also even having the same point of view in music.Marc Anthony mention's that music for him is like a motivation,and music for me is always a  motivater that I use to get through the bad days. Sometimes when I'm feeling down and out,I listen to his music and it sure enough picks me right back up.So his music definitely plays as a motivater in my life.

    

 

     Marc Anthony's music will forever be in my life. As the years go on I think everytime I look back to my childhood,and how i got through it,I will greatly feel an appreciation towards Marc Anthony and his music.That's one of the reasons why I choose to do Marc Anthony as the person for my blog.

 

  

My baby you

       My baby you is a very emotional and passionate song that has a lot of  meaning to it.This song comes from the album called Marc Anthony.Which was produced in the year of 2000.This song has a slow,and soft rhythm to it throughout the whole song.The cause of the song sounding soft,is because the piano,base guitar,and the drums are incorporated but in a soft sounding temple.This song does features back-up singers when Marc is performing it at a live concert,to emphasize the most impacting parts of the song.The video is actually taken live in one of his concerts.His daughter is actually in one of the seats ( which is the person he is dedicating )so its a very emotional performance for him.

 

 This song is basically explaining how his daughter Ariana(oldest child of  Marc Anthony ),18 years old,is growing up.But that,that doesn't mean that she stopped being his baby or little girl.Also I think in a fathers point of you,he would fear that his little girl is going leave him forever and never come back.I know this because my dad has told me a bunch of times. And i think that's why Marc Anthony started crying because as you observed in the video he was kind of singing to only on side of the arena because that was the side that his daughter was seating on.The part that had a real impact on me was the verses down below:

        I will soothe you if you fall

  I'll be right there if you call

                   You're my greatest love of all                    

      This is my favorite part of the song because my dad always tells me that."When you are in trouble,and you need help just call me and I will rush help you",he says .He also says if you ever need advice just feel free to ask.And the thing that I love to hear the most is when he tells me that he loves me. So every time I hear that song I feel that,this song was meant for me.

      I have a ton of songs that I love from Marc Anthony.The many reasons why I love Marc Anthonys  music is because it hits home for me.When i was a little girl,I remember when my family and I would have big family parties.And in those big family parties the only music that was played was all the Albums of Marc Anthony.We would dance the whole night through to his salsa,Latin pop and his slow romantic songs.So ever since I was little it became a tradition to have all the albums of Marc Anthony playing at all our family parties.So I cant till we have another family party.

       

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

    

Marc's  success

 

     Marc's always on the move.With some of his awards being the Latin touring of the year award,and with one of his first awards being the tropical Latin performance in 1999.Some of his recent awards being the most loved artist of the year award in 2004.Then going on to win the best salsa album in 2008. Just in 2010 he won a Grammy in the Latin Grammys.So as you can see Marc's always receiving awards for his out-standing music career.That consist of Latin,pop,hip hop,jazz,and salsa.

        
       Though Marc Anthony's style of music has changed over the years,people still enjoy listening to his music.His music has changed from him singing songs about love and romance,to songs about his life and what makes him happy.An example of that would be the song called"My baby you". The song basically talks about his daughter growing up,but to him nothing will separate him and his baby, not even with today's society.


 



     









 


 








 Although he is not recognized for any other awards other then music,his fans are so dedicated and passionate about his music,that he wants to keep on motivating people by doing what he loves the most.Which is singing.
